You’ll start with a scenic drive to Skinari Cape taking in views of Zakynthos Island en route.

There you can board on a small speedboat and head to the Blue Caves, which are riddled with hollows eroded by the sea. Blue light is reflected on the walls making the experience truly magical and definitely worth seeing. Also, the sea bottom is colored as if scattered with precious gems. Let the boat take you inside to snap some great cave shots.

Next stop is at Shipwreck Beach (Navagio). Explore the rusty shipwreck “Panayiotis”, enjoy a walk on the white sand beach and swim in the clear blue waters. After about an hour, the boat will return to the Skinari Cape.

The next stop will be Anafonitria. Here you will visit the famous monastery of St. Dennis- the patron Saint of the Island.

Here St. Dennis served as an Abbott for the majority of his life until his death on the 17th December 1622. St. Dennis was well- known for his healing powers and compassion. In 1703 he was declared a Saint. It is worth knowing that the monastery has recently been renovated uncovering 15th Century frescoes.

Enjoy lunch (optional) at a traditional mountain tavern with breathtaking views and have a shopping stop to sample and purchase various local products.
